Then just talk into the void. Visualization is pretty key. I used the light ball method. Basically you imagine a ball of light and talk to that, assuming it can hear and understand you. Just do that for a while until you feel anything out of the ordinary. If you want to give yourself a little boost, try the personality method. Write down on a piece of paper all the traits you'd like in a friend, and then slowly explain them in as great a detail as you can to the ball of light.

Results and forming time may vary. If you don't get a response within a month, that's okay. Sometimes it takes a while to build something that can reply in any meaningful way.

personally I'd recommend getting used to deeper trance states, like through meditation; in such states of allowing it's much easier to hear other thoughtforms. From there you can bring that skill in your ordinary consciousness.

once you have a good going with it, I'd suggest moving to something like void meditation (same folder as that anapana one) and actually integrating the states into active forcing(edited)

then again, some things you will have to just face. It's usually a common theme with beginners in meditation to come against all the issues that they have kept repressed

meditation is, for one, a space where they can be expressed and vented in neutrality. If you just passively observe that sort of thing in allowance and acceptance, it will most likely gradually clear up.(edited)
