Hello gamers. Been toying with the idea for a while now and I'm biting the bullet and creating a thread so I can keep all the thoughts in once place.
Host (Milk) has been working on doing some non-tulpa related imposition exercises. They're also decidedly more feeling based than they are visual impositions, since they involve imagining/imposing a pair of deer ears on the tops of our head, which obviously can not be seen. The exercise has been motivated by the desire to feel more inline with how Milk views themself in wonderland and just in general, and is a stepping stone for hopefully more intense sense based impositional work. However, it is also largely experimental. Neither of us are aware of people doing much impositional work that isnt strictly tulpa related, so while we're confident that it is possible, it is somewhat new territory.
I (Kitt) would like to add some additional context here. Milk has frequently experienced what is usually referred to as "phantom shifts" in the therian community, where they experience supernumerary limbs or other appendages such as horns, tails or other impossibilities where none obviously occur. While the sensation of this impositional project is similar, it differs from these phantom shifts in that we are trying to maintain the sensation for a prolonged time, without discomfort, and mindfully/purposefully. The idea is that the feeling will soon become constant or subconsious so that we will no longer have to think about maintaining the illusion and that the ears will just become part of our concept of the body's form.
Anyways. Questions, comments, suggestions, concerns etc are all welcome. We'll hopefully be updating this thread as the experiment progresses.
