Tulpa.info - Can a Tulpa alter my sight of reality?

I was wondering if a tulpa would be able to alter my sight or sense of reality and i dont mean the way i think about life or something, i mean like as an example: if there was a white door and i would ask my tulpa to make that door appear red would i see the door as red? I know that the door would not actually change colors but i meant if the door would change colors in my mind, and if so how far does that go? Could i ask a tulpa to play a song in ly head that i remember without headphones? Could i ask it to change my perception of reality so i would not see my roof of my room and look straight into the sky? Could i ask it to tune out or enhance any sounds that i hear? You get the point Sorry if this is obvious to some people i joined this server only today lol

You could sort of do that with imposition Imposition is like hallucinating a certain sense on purpose Your tulpa would be able to do that if you let them

Luminesce: The skill "imposition" is about changing how you perceive senses, ie to see/hear/etc. your tulpa in the physical world. Though I wouldn't say "Your tulpa does it", it's a skill you can learn independent of tulpamancy (ie imposing objects or different senses), though in tulpamancy and calling it imposition anyway, it's normally used for interacting with your tulpa in a more engaging way. I learned to do it just by trying, personally. Trying to see my tulpa in physical space, shaping out their form with my hands, walking around them as seeing them from different angles seems to help. Doing that with other senses/things is possible too the same way. Not really recommended if you have schizophrenia or other issues with uncontrollable thoughts, hallucinations or otherwise.

Additionally, it seems the common experience of imposition is simply open-eye imagination--it is of similar vividness and "real-feeling" as imagining with your eyes closed, but it is "overlaid" on your vision

So do not expect to be unable to tell the door is actually white, even if you are imposing a red door on top; if you cannot tell the color of the door after imposing, that is likely a mental problem that tulpamancers cannot help with. And, as stated previously, it is indeed a skill separate from tulpamancy in particular, it's just often used by tulpamancers because it is nice to be able to interact with the tulpa in that way

If only this were true... This could save a lot of people years of traveling to Imposition. (Lying on the ground, eyes wide open for God's grace happytears
